“We've been clients of Country Ranch for almost three years, and couldn't be happier. We adopted a lovely, but large and hard-to-handle rescue dog and it was SO much more challenging that we expected. Not only did Country Ranch help us by keeping our girl safe and happy when we couldn't be with her, but they also helped us as new owners to understand her better, and to support her adjustment. I don't know if we would have made it without their help, support and guidance with our dog. This is a large, clean facility with an excellent owner who cares deeply for the dogs themselves, and who seems to be happy when the dogs are happy. He has good staff who seem to like working there and whom our dog loves to see when we arrive. We're grateful for the support and care our pup receives at Country Ranch, and we know how happy our girl is to be there - all we have to say is "Is it time to go to the ranch?" and her entire bottom half starts wagging! I'm glad someone recommended Country Ranch to us when we got our girl - don't know what we would have done without them!”

“Peter and his staff are absolutely awesome! We have two dogs that love coming here. One of our rescue dogs is very scared/reactive around other dogs and people and we spent months/$$$ with various other trainers with little success, but since we started bringing her to Peter over the past few months, her behaviour has improved so much. We have received many compliments about the improvements to her behaviour lately from people who met her last year – they can all see how much calmer she is now and better able to react to situations that used to scare her. We are working on teaching her how to greet other dogs appropriately and the Ranch is one of the only places we know we can trust to safely let her run and play and meet other dogs in a controlled environment. The staff all handle her really well and she is calmer around new people after Peter and his staff have worked with her these past few months. Our other dog loves being able to run around and play there too. They both come home well exercised and are always excited to go there. Peter is always very accommodating and reliable and we are so grateful!”

If it's only a 1 day visit or a stay of 2 weeks when we vacation; we know our dog is super safe and happy staying at the ranch. When we pick Teddy up he s happy and well excersized. We have been taking our Newfoundland dog Blue there periodically for nearly three years. Blue (weighing 130 lb.) is not always the easiest to handle as she can be anxious with other dogs and some people, so, leaving Blue with someone who knows how to keep her safe and calm was really important to us. We know that her experience at the Country Ranch is great because she is always excited to get out of the car when we arrive, and calm, happy and tired when we pick her up.
We are thankful for the care they show for our Blue and all the dogs there and we would recommend The Country Ranch to anyone who is looking to board their pup with someone they can trust. Thank you!”

“We have been boarding our rescue German Shepherd Logan at the ranch for over two years, and we have nothing but high praise for the Ranch and the team there. Our dog has major trust issues with people, but from the first time we met Peter, our dog seemed to trust him. Peter is very knowledgeable about dogs, their behavioural issues, and how to correct them. Over his several stays, Logan has become a more confident and sociable dog. This has been so positive for him. Whether we are out for a day of climbing in Squamish, or away for a few days, we leave Logan at the ranch knowing that Peter and his team will take the best care of our boy. They go way beyond what one would expect at a commercial dog boarding place, and genuinely care of the dogs. The facility is clean with lots of room in the fenced areas for the dogs to socialize and play. When we pick up Logan from the Ranch, he always seems tired but happy after a day of playing with other pups. Peter is very laid back and accommodating when we get stuck in traffic and are late to drop off or pick up our dog.
We highly recommend Peter and the Country Dog Ranch to whomever looking for an excellent dog boarding and training facility.”

“What a really fun place for your dog!! When we first moved to Squamish we tried different dog camps and daycare but in the end were impressed by Country Ranch...and so was our dog Spike. Spike had fun there twice a week all year long from 2008 until he passed away in December of 2014. Just recently we adopted a rescue dog named Valentine. She is nervous by nature and at first was scared to mingle with the dogs when we first took her to Country Ranch. Like Spike, she goes twice a week, and with the care Peter and his doggy helpers gave Valentine, she was slowly introduced to some of the dogs and then after a few weeks she was ready to play with all the dogs. She has a great time!!”
